Okay Kate, I'm game. My worst kitchen disaster was making almond cookies for my home ec. class. Instead of three tsps. of almond extract I used 3 tbs. Needless to say that was about the whole bottle of extract. That made for some nasty cookies that I ended up feeding to the whole class. Poor things.

Shannon, I love it!

I have a good story too. Many years ago, when I was still learning to cook... I went on vacation with Mom, Dad, Josh and both my maternal and paternal grandparents. We were staying in a condo in Florida and I got the bright idea to make banana bread.... my maternal grandmother, Grammy, was recovering from heart surgery and asked me to make the banana bread with Eggbeaters.
As I began to made the banana bread, I poured in the egg-mixture...peppers, onions and vegetables. We had picked up the salsa egg beaters! We decided, despite the vegetables to bake it and eat around the veggies. Needless to say... not only was it not edible, it smelled awful!!!
